Who reads blogs anyway?

I don't read blogs. Maybe the only time I will read a blog is if it comes up in a google result. And even then, 50% I'll go down to the comments since the blog post will often be old.

That's the cool thing about making the ability to post comments public; people can post easy and quick. I've found problems when I'm programming that I need to google search and I'll come to a 2 year old blog post with comments from this year fixing the problem! Hell yes!

Anyway, I just had some good waffles, I have 5 hours of work today and a pretty fair amount of homework. So I should probably work on that. Also, I turned in my paper a few days early on accident if you read this Sonia.

One Saturday, asleep under a ping-pong ball.

I wish I had more time. Everyone wishes that don't they? I wonder how much more we'd waste then?

You know what I mean? You know those nights you come home finally having time to mess with your hobby or whatever, but some how you still manage to plopped down in front of the computer or TV for way to long?

So then you finish watching TV or staring at the internet, and you realize it's to late to have some fun. Well damn, don't you wish you had more time?

I am not saying you'd waste as much time as you'd gain, but you'd still find a way to spend even more time on the internet or in front of the TV.

Damn, we suck.

Remember when Disney sucked less?

Woops, I didn't write a second one last week. I'll need to right three this week. Sorry about that.

So, remember when Disney sucked less? "Well whatever do you mean mister blog writer? Disney rules!" Well yes it does. But it was once better.

Remember when we had all those awesome cartoon movies, Aladdin, Lion King, Hercules,
Beauty & The Beast, etc. Well what happened to those days? They were awesome! Yeah sure we have Pixar these days, but what was the last memorable thing Disney did since Mulan? To hell if I know.

So, have a just grown older and less interested? Is this simply just steamed nostalgia? I doubt it, I loved kids movies, cartoons, and such. But I'd be dammed if I could remember the last awesome animated Disney move post Y2k.

Maybe they got a virus.

The Right, the Left and Fuck You.

I've never had a facebook account and I'm avoiding it as best I can. So today I looked at one, and I noticed the option "political views". It had such vague an stupid choices at "liberal" and "conservative".

Well thanks. I'm so glad to hear that your views can be so quickly defined by one word. Get a life facebook!

I'm conservative and I'm pissed. I'm so concervative I hate being associated with other concervatives. Concervatives of my brand call the concervatives of today "Neo-concervatives". You've probably heard said term, we usually use it on Bush are crew as well as what remains of his supporters. Well let me tell you, I'm so annoyed with people just asking me "are you concervative?" and if I say yes just assuming I'm a Bush supporter or whatever. That's BS.

I'm sure liberals incounter this same problem. Well let me tell world, SCREW OFF! It's time we break it up, and listen to people's views instead of blowing them off!

I was almost too late!

It's like, an hour before the week is over. I would have missed the deadline to post the blog post! I should probably work on my punctuality with this.

Well I have nothing really to write about. But let me tell you, my room is a damn mess. I should fix this, TONIGHT. So I will once I'm done.

So sleep on this crazy thing called an AeroBed, it freaking rules. It's an air bed as you may have guessed, it sits around 20 inches of the ground and it is comfortable as heck. I came here from a waterbed, and on a traditional bed there is usually some down time getting used to a normal bed. Not this baby, it freaking rules. You can deflate and infate with an easy button, although I pretty much found the amount of air wanted on first try. It came with a cover too! It also seems to be pretty sturdy to far. We'll see in the long run! Anyway, if you ever need a cheap, portable, self-inflating bed, check these suckers out!

So ends this infomercial.

So I almost didn't go to DigiPen anymore.

For reasons incomprehensible to you and I, I almost couldn't go to DigiPen anymore. Here's what happened.

I get this email entitled, "URGENT, YOUR PLUS LOAN HAS BEEN RETURNED" on Tuesday of this week. The email informed that my PLUS loan was revoked despite having had it for more than 2 months now.

So I walked over to the Financial Aid office instead of calling and Kim King informed me that the due two something called a Guarantor (Apparently the insurance company for a loaner.) decided DigiPen students were not good enough for them and they dropped their DigiPen students. So since my loaner, Discover, didn't have any insurance on my loan, Discover took the money back from DigiPen's coffers. What the hell is that?

Fortunatelly, I never paniced. I basically had to call my Mom and have her re-apply at a different loander to get a new PLUS loan (+ stafford) and hope to God it gets approved. Since my Mom lost her job since we had the first PLUS loan, this was a larger strech then before.

Lucky me however, I can now say I'm going to DigiPen afterall.

Thanks,

Palex.

That last one, wow.

That last one was ridiculously long. I wanted it to be complete and informative without getting too complex. Unfortunately, that sacrificed length. We'll see if anyone ever reads it. So since that last one was so long, let's keep it short and sweet this time.

There are two types of music I like, progressive artsy stuff and stuff that I can listen to with my windows rolled down the highway. So yes, that would make it purely a mood thing. I would suppose that is the case with most people. I however, am not into a lot different kinds of music, I've never liked heavy music of any kind really. Big no to rap and hip-hop.

But I'm sure that comes as no surprise considering the student base here at DP.
